Introducing

Micro

Micro Scooters started with one simple goal: to make getting around more fun. What began as a clever way for adults to move through cities quickly became a staple of childhood everywhere. Known for their smooth ride, sturdy design, and thoughtful safety features, Micro scooters are built to last and be passed down (or across the North Sea, in our case).

Each scooter is designed with precision, sustainability, and repairability in mind, built from replaceable parts, not throwaway plastic. As a certified B Corp, Micro meets the highest standards of environmental and social responsibility, proving that play and purpose can roll hand in hand.

Whether it’s their first ride down the street or their hundredth, Micro turns everyday journeys into small adventures.

Micro scooters are designed to grow with your child.

For younger children, compatible seat attachments allow the scooter to be used in a seated position, offering stability while they build confidence. As balance improves, the seat can be removed and the scooter used standing, using the lean-to-steer system to control direction.

This staged approach means the same scooter can support development over several years rather than being replaced after a short period.

If your child is ready to glide independently from the start, the Mini Micro Deluxe works as a stable first three-wheel scooter. If they are younger or still cautious, starting with a seat attachment can make the transition smoother.

The non-folding model offers a fixed structure with fewer moving parts, prioritising stability over compact storage.

Micro vs Other Scooter and Balance Bike Brands

Micro is often compared with supermarket scooters and lower-priced balance bikes. The main difference lies in construction quality and steering design.

Micro’s three-wheel scooters use a lean-to-steer system that encourages children to shift their body weight to turn, rather than relying only on handlebars. Many lower-cost scooters use simpler steering systems and lighter components.

For balance bikes, Micro focuses on lightweight frames and smooth steering to support early coordination. Cheaper alternatives may be heavier or less adjustable, which can affect comfort and confidence.

Micro products are designed for regular outdoor use rather than short-term seasonal play.
