TickiT Rainbow Wooden Shape Twister
A large beechwood bolt with seven rainbow-coloured nuts to match and twist into place. Each nut is a different shape, increasing from a circle to an octagon, and children work their way up the bolt by turning and threading each piece through with their hands.
The twisting motion develops the kind of careful hand movements that underpin writing and fine coordination. Children can challenge themselves to sequence by colour, by number of sides or simply by feel, making the same toy endlessly reusable in different ways.
