TickiT Wooden Lacing Fruits
Seven wooden fruit shapes, each with a threading hole, ready to be laced onto string in whatever order a child chooses. Children work slowly and deliberately to feed the thread through each piece, building the hand control that underpins writing, drawing and other careful tasks.
The fruits are hand-painted with bright, detailed finishes that make them recognisable and appealing. Threading and sequencing naturally introduces conversation about colour, counting and the names of each fruit, making it as language-rich as it is physical.
